The Special Forces Boys Camp is focused on boys 10-14 years old coming from single parent homes.
There are three main events through the year. The fall and spring day camps are two days long during the school breaks. We partner with Bass Pro Shop in Manteca who provides classes for fishing, camping, canoe/kayaking and archery. We also have various life lesson classes mixed with activities. The summer camp is a week long with a wide variety of daily activities. Fishing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, sports, archer, and of course a variety of life lesson classes.
Campers are mentored by Officers from Stockton PD and Chaplains from the Stockton Police Chaplaincy. Often relationships build during these events lead mentors and campers to stay in touch and increase the likelihood for valuable positive growth.
Our goal is to encourage these young men to know that God has a plan for all of us, that there is a wide world of possibilities for everyone and that through honor, courage and integrity they can be men of great value to their Community. Additionally they can be leaders in school, in their family and with the people around them.
